New patches are now available for Serious Sam 2, updating Croteam's shooter
sequel to version 2.068. The update for the retail version is available on the
2K Games Website and the update for the digital distribution can be found on
3D Downloads, 3D Gamers,
FileFront,
FilePlanet (registration required), and Worthplaying.
They patched SS:FE. And SS:SE. And they abandoned the 1.5 patch for SS:SE because barely anyone played the game anymore and it wasn't worth their time.
This is the second patch for SS2. The first one was 3 months ago.
They never sold out to Microsoft. Microsoft has no power over Croteam and won't be firing anyone. Croteam is an independent developer that publishes through Take Two Games under the 2K Games label.
Oh, but we all know that publishers have no control over what platforms games get developed for and when they get released, even for independent developers...
