Computer and Video Games (thanks Frans) has word that plans may be in place
for sequels to The Godfather even before the mob movie tie-in hits stores.
According to the speculative story, they may even make a third installment in
the game series (ignoring the object lesson offered by the third The
Godfather movie). Word is:
Speaking to BBC News, Godfather executive David DeMartini revealed that he plans to work on at least two more Godfather titles, and that he hopes to establish it as one of EA's biggest franchises. "We went into this venture taking into consideration the establishment of a brand new franchise," he said, "Our intention is to make two and three."
THEY WANT TO MAKE MONEY AND MILK IT! This is just wonderful news. I'll bet they would like to sell 4 or 5 sequels to a game that has yet to be released.
