Out of the Blue [Feb 18, 2006, 2:16 pm ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
Among the wild weather swings we've had in these parts over the past couple of
weeks, one consistent element has been the high winds. It's not generally that
windy around here, or else we would not be surrounded as we are by wind chimes.
We inherited a set on one side of the house when we bought the place, and hung
one we had somehow acquired during apartment life on the other side of the
house, and our neighbors on each side also have chimes of their own. As a
result, it's been a cacophony out there on an annoyingly regular basis... it's
like I'm being stalked by Mike Oldfield. If this keeps up I may need to go out
and find a way to temporarily shush everything.

Agreed. It's pedant's like this that empower the scumbags who actually ARE stealing stuff, ultimately making things more difficult (and expensive, to cover the cost of the losses) for honest shoppers.
