VU Games Community Forums have word that the version 1.03 patch for F.E.A.R. is still a ways off, in spite of reports that it would be released yesterday (story). There are comments from the Community Manager saying they don't know the originations of this story, claiming it was unofficial information, even though it was based on a VU Games Press Release.

with no explanation as to "why" its in there, it just "is" Uhm ok? I dont need my action slowed down thank you very much.

While I personally don't like bullet-time either, the nice thing about F.E.A.R. is that it is optional. I played through the entire game on the highest difficulty setting without ever using it. In multiplayer, simply avoid the servers running the "slo-mo" game types, which is easy to do since not many people play on them.
