Panzer Elite Action Demo

A new demo for Panzer Elite Action is now available, offering a chance to test-drive some of the armored vehicles in Zootfly's World War II combat game. Word is: "The level is a specially crafted demo mission which does not appear in the game itself, we call it mission zero. You play the commander of an allied platoon and you have to attack enemy tanks, fortifications, 88s and other German held positions. You'll encounter a variety of different tanks – like the famous Panther and even a Tiger – in challenging different settings. From a dense forest to a small village, which is occupied by a platoon of German (Fallschirmjager)!" The download is available on 3D Downloads, 3D Gamers, Boomtown (registration required), Computer Games, Filecloud, FileFront, Gameguru Mania, VGPro, and Worthplaying.

I like it.. alot. I wasnt bored with the demo, unlike some of the recent demos coming out, and the text at the end is worth reading... funny!

I like when the demo doesnt just have the first level or 2 from the game, usually if the demo is long enough playing through that part again is kind of annoying if you get the full game.

Going to try this once it finishes downloading, it's funny that 20 minutes to download 340mb seems like so long now... I don't know what I'd do if I had to go back to dialup.

Well the first time I ran it the game crashed my computer for the first time in about 7 months, had to dust off the reset button on my case. So I rebooted and the next time the game ran, though for some reason the sound levels all default to 0.

Game seemed kind of budgety, but maybe it's better with sound.

Who decided to make enemies turn the crosshair green and friendlies turn it red? First thing I did was shoot a bunch of my own guys in the traditional American soldier white jumpsuit outfit, before realizing red meant friendly.

Democracy wins!

Fairly fun arcade-style action game; not very realistic, but it's enjoyable.

The production values are good, but does a game like this really need motion blur?

Yeal... music and sound is set to zero so you have to crank it up. Also the graphics are set at mid-range so pump it up. On the demo, yeah no reason to use motion blur although imagine if MP can get some really massive battles going.

It's somewhat amusing, I might be willing to pay 10 bucks if I could download it somewhere.

Fun arcadish game. The game needed more boom. Yes, the audio volumes were at zero for me too. I couldn't enable EAX though.
