Stubbs the Zombie Demo

A new demo for Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel without a Pulse is now available, offering the chance to sample Wideload Games' Halo-engine action game. The single-level demo is available on NVIDIA's nZone, though the links are not actually provided, but the site does hold the PC demo (direct links) and Mac demo (direct link). The PC edition is mirrored on 3D Downloads, 3D Gamers, Boomtown (registration required), FileFront, FileNuts, FileShack, Gameguru Mania, GameSpot (registration required), Gamer's Hell, VGPro, and Worthplaying.

Hmm, am I the only one who found the game entertaining? Sure, it's repetitious, but if you play it on the higher difficulty settings, the challenge forces you to be more strategic in your zombie shennanigans. I'll admit that the game started off slow, though, and if the demo is taken from the beginning of the game (which it most likely is), it probably won't be too engaging. The later levels in the game present some tricky scenarios that I liked.

Oh, I'm also not a Bungie fanboy. I think the Halo games are pretty crappy and easily among the most overrated games of all time. Wasn't a big fan of Marathon either.
