A fine time was had by all at yesterday's soiree. Well, for the most part, as
little Gunnar had a bodily function-intensive day, vomiting on the drive in, and
leaving a couple of presents that belonged under some other tree than a
Christmas tree. And of course, even with a bit of a coating of puke and crapping
a couple of times, no one seemed to hold it against him... If that puppy's life
was a sitcom, it would be called Everybody Loves Gunnar.

"The Chappelle Theory" is pretty well-written and presented, so it's strange to see so many situations presented that would be completely impossible to have witnessed as described, unless there was an even larger conspiracy to keep tabs on the members of the so-called "dark crusaders".
It's an amusing read, at any rate.

It went from "difficult to beleive" to "ridiculous" when I got to the part where he woke up with Oprah leaning over his bed threatening him.A scene which included a "Colt .45 handgun with an enormous silencer," no less. Not to say it can't be done (it can, no pun intended), but it's still rather implausible.
RE#4: it was pretty ridiculous well before that, it's a shame he doesn't do his show, this sounds like of his skits.
Congrats to Penny Arcade for a very succesful collection so far, even after paying out for Jack Thompson's broken promise.

Actually, I think they will be relieved, and will go about the business of concentrating on getting ready for the post-season. I think they will play their starters for a half, then put in the reserves - - the same for the 'Hawks *if* the Bears lose tonight. If they need to, the 'Hawks will win, but *only* because they would need to, and because the Colts won't ....

The package — which arrived via UPS — contained a picture of Chappelle's sleeping children, taken the night before in Chappelle's house. A person who appeared to be of Al Sharpton's build was standing next to their beds.
Since when has *anyone* got *anything* on-time let alone the next day from UPS? Not to mention the fact that December 26, 2004 was a Sunday. UPS does not deliver on Sundays.
Either way, it was an entertaining read. And I wish the author of this piece luck in his therapy. =)

I have. It was the last time I got shipped something UPS, the time before that, the time before that and so on.
