Loved it, except for the fact that there were two groups sitting on either side of the theatre, who had come in later as one larger group. What was wrong with them? Oh, nothing, except for the fact that they were loudly whispering, answering cell phones, and flashing laser pointers throughout. I would have decided to walk out MUCH earlier, if it weren't for the fact that I was with a couple friends (who did stay through until the end of the credits). Needless to say, I complained, and got three readmit tickets for any movie, good for a long time for that theatre...

Oh, right, the review...

Well, I loved it from a technical standpoint; beautiful visuals on closeups of Kong and Ann, and the scenery was quite neat.

SST: The fight scene between Kong and the dinosaurs farking rocked! I could almost feel my own jaw breaking as Kong dealt punishment to the dinos to protect his favorite girl. I also thought as touching the "resting" scene ("beautiful") and the "ice-skating", though I could see a huge explosion or something similar coming from a mile away. I did, however, walk out a few minutes before credits, as Kong was slipping off the Empire State, having been shot multiple times.

Worth the $10? Definitely, but could VERY WELL do without the disruptors.
