I wouldn't call it settling for 2nd or 3rd place right out of the gate. I call them smart. Price the sytem cheap for the non crazy graphic whores that just want nice graphics and have to pay over 400 for them, and cater to the people that just want an affordable system with nice graphics, lots of games, and is good for any age. I see Nintendo almost similar to Blizzard at times. They don't use or need the latest hardware(technology) in their stuff, and yet can still sell a crazy amount by catering to the smart people who aren't dumb enough to pay for graphics.
