Did I lie? Did I make something up? Can I have no opinion?
Yes, being a post on a game site, I talk about specific issues to my general feeling and impression of things. After all, we are, if we have not decided already, using this to try and figure whether or not we will be making a purchase.
Obviously the game does not sit well with me, but I do think I listed
more than a few reasons why. You? All you can say is that I have no idea what I am talking about.
Looking at your post history, you are positive about the game and do like it. I would note that you supply little to no reasons why and clearly state that the game is not perfect and that the nailgun, an iconic weapon of the franchise (at least for myself) is "pointless."
You say a weapon is pointless and leave it at that. I discussed the same weapon and pointed out is lack of zoom, precision, and power. Yet you manage to completely write me off as having no idea of what I am talking about.
People are obviously free to like the game, though I would encourage them to buy many other games that I think are bettter. But if they do not like it, I will disagree with them about the quality of the game, but I would not say they have no idea what they are talking about.
I tihnk the game is very generic and a low point for the companies and franchise, but it is functional. That is why I rated it at 70% and not some low 40% or so. It is a matter of preference and tolerance. Sure, if somebody were to buy this game for me at no cost, I would sit here and whittle away at it and beat it. Would I really want to? At the moment, not particularly. For looking at something that I am going to spend my money on, for being tight on money in a Christmas period, for holding amazing potential for gaming and the experience it can let somebody enjoy, this is not something I would wish to purchase for said experience.
And it goes on and on...I don't like it...I don't invalidate those that do...Rolling my eyes,
Ray
