Umm, I guess Ray doesn't like it.
As for "teleporting away," it's using a version of the Doom3 engine. If you may recall in D3 baddies "evaporated" a few seconds after dying. They probably did it to increase performance.
Personally I liked it. It wasn't OH MY GOSH good, nor was it innovative. However it was a fun mindless shooter. I actually liked it more than Fear (and I normally love deeper game a heck of a lot more). I only bought it since I wasn't feeling great and needed something to keep me occupied.
Some of you things say are correct though; texture resolutions a little lame and such.
But in all it was a fun few hours of play and followed Quake
2 pretty well. Unforunately on Medium you can beat it pretty quickly.
