You are truly grasping at straws here.I don't think so. I'm trying to understand how the hype came about, be it generated in a people's minds, by the community or accidentally by Valve themselves. In the end it all adds up. Maybe you can even blame HL2's success. It was so good that people are desperate for more, always disappointed, never satisfied.
