PC Dynasty Warriors 4 This Year

Koei Confirms Dynasty Warriors 4 Hyper For PC on TotalVideoGames (thanks Mike Martinez) follows up on the revelation earlier this year that a PC edition of Dynasty Warriors 4 is in the works (story) with word that Dynasty Warriors 4 Hyper will be released in Europe on December 9. They also have word on the graphical enhancements that make the PC edition so Hyper:
The game, which brings all the elements of the PlayStation2’s 2004 release Dynasty Warriors 4 to the PC platform, but will also take advantage of the higher monitor resolutions so that Hyper will have extended draw distances, feature twice as many opponents on screen at once, anti-aliasing, improved enemy AI, dynamic shadows, and texture filtering.

Hopefully multiplayer!?

Really? I like DW5. Put many hours into these games, so it is exciting to see them come over to the PC where they belong. Be able to mod our characters. Make all of the enemies Jack Thompson.

at least it's not dynasty warrior 5, which is the worst one ever made. Dynasty warrior 3 and 4 are the best

Nice. I've been button mashing my way through Samurai Ledgends for the last week, its damed fun, but cursed with a low as draw distance. a bit of a horizen, plus mouselook would be sweet.

I thought the same thing about mixing it with diablo, I got the japanese version thanks to someones suggestion here and had as much fun as you can have with a game while not being able to read anything thats happening.

Mindless or not theres something fun about wading through 50 enemy soldiers at once and beating the crap out of them all.

As long as they don't screw something up I'm looking forward to playing this again, and being able to read what's happening and what I'm supposed to be doing!

I'm really amazed that this type hasn't been merged with more "RPG" elements, it seems like a perfect fit, and they started adding more item leveling and stuff so maybe thats the way its headed.

Huh- a Dynasty Warriors PC release? I would probably buy it at $20.

Game is pretty fun when you have another friend and you do the split screen killing baddies co op thing. Quite mindless though fun.

When I frist seen a friend play Dynasty Warriors 2, I thought that if you could combine that with Daiblo 2, your would be onto a winner.

At less this makes that move a little closer.
