Ray, my comment was meant to be rude, because it was a bit absurd.
Warhawk:
I prefer bots as well. Especially with console games, though. I cannot stand dealing with online matchmaking for Xbox games. It's time consuming and annoying. I spend nearly as much time in matchmaking as I do playing. And many of these games only allow one person to play online at a time, and have no bots for split screen, making them essentially one player games with online components. I want multiplayer with people on the couch.
With PC games matchmaking is easier, but can still be frustrating, especially in games where TKers and/or cheaters are everywhere. I'd rather set up a quick game with bots. Smack them around some. Quiet. No cheating. And I can get some friends on the LAN in.
Bots are dumber than people, but on the average more entertaining because they're rarely frustrating.
