Q4 might have an average of 80% on metacritic, but we all (should) know that many review sites over-score games to ensure the publisher/developer keeps sending them games to review. It's been going on for years, with the result that damn near all ratings are inflated. A game needs to have a rating of 85% or higher nowadays to be anything interesting for me...unless we're talking about that game which comes 'round about once every one or two years, where it seems that every reviewer on the planet is just out of touch with the gaming public and gives a game low marks, whilst it deserves much higher (something which usually happens to games from unkown or first time devs/publishers, oddly enough).
After reading all these posts, I'm definitely going to need a demo, or the recomendation from some of my friends who will buy it regardless.
As for posting a whole letter on this board, whining about a review; please don't. Your writing really isn't that intersting....a concise summary would have been more than enough.
