Epic’s Unreal Engine 3 to power BVG’s next generation content
Raleigh, NC and Burbank, CA – September 27, 2005 – Buena Vista Games, Inc. (BVG), the interactive entertainment arm of The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS), and Epic Games, world-class developers of cutting-edge video games and pioneer of the award-winning Unreal® Engine, today announced an agreement to license Unreal Engine 3 for multiple next-generation BVG projects. The first game under the agreement is based on the popular “Turok” franchise, and will be developed by BVG’s new Propaganda Games studio in Vancouver, British Columbia.
