Ray I would say you summed it up well.
I'm a little more hyped to get it than you are - but indeed - with all the bells and whistles added the game carries just a little too much of the same spawning ai and scripted events from CoD.
I'm sure it will be a blast - I'm sure there will be some wonderful scripted events - but I'm also pretty sure that it will continue to feel as though you're on a ride at disneyland with animatronics. It's fun - but just not believeable.
I'll pick this one up because I know it will be a fun ride - but it is a slight bummer at least from what I've seen that - that something more besides the sights and sounds have been upgraded.
