Quick list of what I observed and how I feel about the demo:
-Graphics are better than the last title but the game world still has that static feel where many of the world items can't be affected.
-CoD2 doesn't seem to have proper physics (AGAIN!).
-Some of the scripted scenes are well done but aren't necessarily original.
-There is no way to save your game (that I can find). However, when you die you start in a spot just before you died.
-Couldn't find a way to adjust or turn off the msuic.
-The demo is extremely short. I finished it in about 15 minutes.
-It looks like you'll be jumping from campaign to campaign, playing different characters in CoD2. If this is so, it will fail to provide any sort of emotional attachment with either your own character or thoses of your mates.
If this is the only demo they will release before it ships, I'll be waiting until the price drops. While the level design was good and the production values were spot on, CoD2 looked and played like the other WWII titles. You are basically running around in chaotic situations trying to accomplish static goals. If that is what you love to play, then CoD2 should be a very good game. For others, you may want to wait until it hits the $20 mark.
