Riley, no one is arguing that.
Some are. I quoted Scotish Martial Arts in that comment.
They're simply arguing that, at the time of release, it had the best and most realistic.
Half-Life 2 is not definitively the best and most realistic animation and lipsynching. It is marginally better than some games at best. The more realistic look of Half-Life 2's models is due to the better character textures not the animation. And, it is certainly not blow me away better than other games as has been claimed by the press and fans.
Riley, you never said the second game, you said: Monolith's games from NOLF onward have facial animation and lipsynching which are at least on par with what I have seen in Half-Life 2. so bringing up a NOLF 1 video is perfectly acceptable
First, I cited NOLF 2 multiples times in my posts. Second NOLF 1's lipsynching is basically on par with Half-Life 2's, but because the NOLF 1 models use less than half the polygons and the textures are far less detailed, the overall appearance is naturally less realistic.
We all imagine you living in the basement of your mothers house, collecting dolls, wearing tin-foil caps, discussing the worst episodes of star trek, and serving up super sized fries as a means to pay for your gaming habit.
Wow, you have a vivid imagination. You really need to see a psychiatrist about your multiple personality disorder though. Or did the idiots of this forum elect you their spokesman?
