Can someone explain to me how it sold around 6 Billion units if it was as lousy as some of you say?
It was a good game following a great game. And enough time had passed that demand was high. I wouldn't say the game was lousy, I'd probably rate it mediocre. It had its good points and bad points. But it certainly wouldn't have been GotY if it hadn't been a sequel to HL1. Of course, my perception of it would probably be better if it wasn't the sequel to HL1 either, as there'd likely be a lot less hype over it (ala FarCry).
