I know one of the early 1990's hurricanes that hit the east coast (Around N.C.) was a huge disaster, and it was partially FEMA's fault

You're probably thinking of Hurricane Andrew, which hit the Miami area of Florida. The poor federal response to it is often cited as one of the reasons that Bush (Sr) wasn't re-elected.

There really weren't any major hurricanes to hit or affect NC in the 1990s. Here's a good resource: http://www.nc-climate.ncsu.edu/climate/hurricanes.html .

The last really big 'canes to do massive damage in the area were Isabel (2003) and Hugo (1989). Both were pretty devastating.

...Is out. It rules in all ways. They even got rid of attribute point refunds! (switch as much as you want now).

Damn good support though, since the release 3 hours ago they've patched it twice more to fix bugs that cropped up.

Read all that this morning...sounds really amazing...

And yeah, the Doom poster almost looke like a homemade photoshop pic...

This isn't the first time FEMA screwed up. Someone help me out here, because I know one of the early 1990's hurricanes that hit the east coast (Around N.C.) was a huge disaster, and it was partially FEMA's fault. Or so it was said many, many, MANY times.

FEMA is a joke, and I am not surprised by what happened. I am, however, surprised that Bush patted Mr. Brown on the back and told him he did a great job. Now that was hilarious.
