quickest way is if the sides are uneven and the USA team has more players be one of the first to die and it'll switch ya over to the other team. And it typically keeps you on that sides even if you go to another server, at least in my observations.

How can I chance my player Flag in BF2? Its set to the stupid yank flag.

The game has no releastion to the PS1 game. Based on teh description I would say it has more incommon with Air Support (Amiga) than pretty much anything else. My understanding is that it is coming along nicely and I think it has been pushed to the 1st part of 2006.
I have been really excited about this game since the leaked tech demo many moons ago and the latest trailers look damn good.

Wonder if this is related to the old Battlestations for the PS1. Loved that game.

The bitching about war games in general is far more prevalent than number of war titles on the market. Sorry, not all of us are into unicorns and fairy farts.

:O usually i'd agree with you, but I'm looking forward to Battlestations Midway. Sucks that it's been delayed. The game is cool because you're controlling entire fleets and squadrons in real-time. Then you can hop into various machines for an action game feel. Pretty awesome, IMO. WW2 is a good setting for this because modern fleet battles are too "beyond visual range". And instead of having hundreds of planes doing battle, you just have a few... which are shooting extremely powerful missiles from 50 miles away.

If you've ever enjoyed a Star Wars or Wing Commander space combat game, then Battlestations could be great. Watching hundreds of planes wade into massive flak, trying to line up torpedo and bomb runs on capital ships is awesome and quite unique to WW2.

Yes, I see it now. BF2 is the same as Battlestations:Midway.
They both have "over 60 legendary war-machines, including huge aircraft carriers, battleships, destroyers, land and carrier based bombers and even submarines, all equipped with authentic weaponry".
They are in the same timeline too! How could I be so blind and think there is a difference between 194x and 2005. Or between small squad tactics and large battlegroups.
I must be getting old...

Yeah but im sure there are OTHER things than just WW (insert number here).
