Got it coming down the pipe now from 3DGamers, thanks Frans!
I have heard though, this demo will take up about 1GB of hard drive space, and the demo itself will last around 30 or so minutes.
Consoles are schwag.

45 minute wait on 3D Gamers.

I've never waited on 3D Gamers before.

Here's a quote from the ReadMe on the system requirements:

In order to play the game at the recommended resolution, detail and performance levels, your computer should meet or exceed the following specifications:

• US version of Windows(R) XP with the latest service pack installed
• Pentium(R) 4 3.0 GHz or equivalent
• 2GB of RAM
• 256MB DirectX(R) 9.0 video card with pixel shader 2.0 support

3.0GHZ and 2GB of RAM?! FEAR would have to be the best looking game ever to demand those kinds of resources. Anyone want to bet it's not?

45 minute wait on 3D Gamers.
Even worse is that the 3D Gamers torrent link is broken.

I heard a rumour that 3D Gamers is now owned by FilePlanet.

They are now one and the same folks. (aparently)

yeah right. they can go fuck themselves with those requirements. sorry, but from what i've seen, the engine doesn't look that good. must be shit coding.

installing now. lol, it asks for your birthdate. and whats with these games that want to install direct x even when you have the latest version installed? sigh.

okay, it's done, lets give it a shot.

Well, the wait was shorter than advertised, and I'm now getting 1.19MB/s. If this keeps up I'll have the demo in under 9 minutes.

Ha!

Agree, why wait until 1pm EST to release the demo?
Everyone in the USA is awake now and trying to download it. They should release demos early in the morning.
