Diablo II version 1.11
is now available for Blizzard's
action/RPG (thanks
DiabloII.Net). The update, which can be acquired automatically, closes exploits,
addresses bugs, and even adds new content, so as a result, the Battle.Net realms
are currently temporarily down. The
patch notes outline
all that's changed, and the various manual downloads are now available from the
Blizzard Entertainment
Technical Support Site (thanks Frans).
If you still play D2, and don't have the expansion, then absolutely get it. If you haven't played D2 in a long time, and you're just looking to get into it again, then maybe not. Mainly because you have to get through acts I-IV before the new one, V. The classes and items they added are pretty awesome though.
