I installed my replacement for my replacement motherboard last night, and things
went smoothly. It's still not running without blue-screening at 1600x1200, but
seems stable and happy at lower resolutions, and running considerably faster
with the NForce 3 chipset than the SiS based mobo I replaced. It was a lengthy
project, but on the bright side, after removing and replacing the motherboard so
often in such a short time, I really got all the cables and such routed just
exactly how I want them. That's arguably not really worth all the trouble I went
through, but such is the nature of optimism.
