Wow, then you my friend have to be the only person in the world.Again, just because YOU like to play a game a certain way, doesn't mean everyone else does.
I'll play an RTS for Single Player only, unless it's totally smacktastically brilliant in allowing monstrous defense, then I'll take it online.
I don't like rushing / rushers. That's not to say I get owned by them or anything, although I do lose every now and then, it means that I hate using the very first unit to win / lose a map. There's a reason there are 80 units in an RTS.
TO BE USED.
(What kind of strategy is it to take one unit and basically tank rush? And yet, this is what Westwood has saddled us with, the C&C "Tank Rush" Legacy. Woohoo.)
I prefer a nice drawn out game, but good luck finding that online. Hence I avoid it usually.
If I can find some peeps I know to play with, I'll play online (and we'll alternate between the defender and attacker), but otherwise it's strictly single player on "Fucking Hell! That Hurts!" difficult.
Then again, DragonShard is made by Ed DiCastillo, and my loathing for him and anything he's touched knows no bounds after he royally raped the Ultima franchise, and it'll be a very damn cold day in Hell before he gets a dime of my money.
Hey Ed? Fuck you.
