Define "behind the curve?" Since when did you have to max out games to be able to enjoy them? Everyone is saying I can get a Radeon 9700 for less than $100. Why only take such a baby-step towards a full upgrade? And more importantly, why the hell should I spend $100 to buy a card to play a game that looks worse than games (Doom 3, Far Cry, HL-2) I can play with my *current card*?! If this game actually looked better than any of those I would understand it.
Yes I'm very stubborn, but if iD, Valve, and Crytek can do it, why can't EA? But forced obsolescence just because it's time? To paraphrase Michael Bolton, why should *I( change? They're the ones who suck.
