shooter sequel is beginning to deploy:

Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS - News) and Digital Illusions today announced that Battlefield 2(TM) has begun to ship to retail outlets for the PC. Powered by an all new game engine, Battlefield 2 brings the intensity and excitement of its predecessors, the award-winning Battlefield 1942(TM) and Battlefield Vietnam(TM), into the modern era with the latest, most technologically advanced vehicles and weapons systems available to man.
In Battlefield 2, players will choose to fight for one of three military superpowers: the United States, China, or the newly formed Middle East Coalition. I've had some fun with the bugs. The forklift that didn't go down the elevator, the green discoloration that didn't cover the dude's forehead, few others.
Overall the game was beautiful, cartoonish yet beautiful. The trigen models weren't that great, the rest...
However, I hate my ISP. I'm in the last level, when you open the door and it's a bunch of rocket launcher guys around lava. Took me like 8 tries, but I finally killed the last one, then my screen goes black. I think it's a cut scene, but no, my ISP went down, AIM was booted off, and was giving me a warning that it couldn't connect. When I click to go back into the game, it disappears, so I lost all my work.
DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL.
