I actually started Star Wars Galaxies as my first ever MMORPG shortly after it went gold. I've played it off and on since. Tried EQ2, wasn't impressed. I don't like 3rd person view, so GW is out of the question for me... not to mention that I HATE HATE HATE "Fantasy" themed games.
I recently cancelled because it just gets too stale. I really like the persistant aspect of the games. It's much more like a virtual world then any other game type. There just isn't enough options to make the experience unique, and I'd like to see the games evolve toward some sort of Dynamic quests system instead of this stale static stuff.
I will probably stay away from MMORPG's until they evolve a lot further, but the draw is there for me.

He cut the possum's face off then cut around the eye socket. In the center of the belt buckle, where the possum's eye would be, he has placed a small piece of wood from his old '52 Ford's home made railroad tie bumper. Damn, he misses that truck.
