Runs good enough with my Nvidia FX5600 even if it's not listed as a supported card (all GFX settings on low of course, except 100% View Range). I guess FPS around 60-75.
Could be worse. And I'm under the impression that it runs better than BF:V. I could be wrong though.
But the 10/12 minute round timer is really annoying. So far I never had a game reach zero tickets (maybe out of 25 games).
The game looks decent enough. Will probably buy it. Does anybody know how many maps are included with the full game?

Edit:Pitiful, if you start a 32 multiplayer game for yourself you can test some planes and helis. And if you are the only player in the game, you won't have to worry about the timer.

You know, its amazing, but the game actually runs a lot better than I thought, looks as good as I thought, and yet, the gameplay did NOTHING for me. Really just feels like a faster-paced BF1942 with physics and a better graphics engine. Load times sucked, btw.

I really just wasn't feeling the gameplay at all. It was nothing unique, nothing special.

Thanks, though, EA. At least now I know not to buy the game.

I'm trying it just because so many people seem so worked up. At least that way I can join in on the discussion and have an opinion of the game

Finally got it, played some single player. No issues with my radeon card, runs smooth, though I did leave everything at medium. Didnt try to reconfigure controls so nocomment there. Seems alright, graphics are nice, lots of different unit types to choose from. I'll have to play some online before making a decision to buy it or not though. The artillery sucks , if someone continualy drops art on spawn that could make for shitty gameplay. Didnt see anything to fly, I wonder how jets are going to work with this game.

I have a suspicion with the stuttering. My guess is that it's caused by the sound, not the graphics. I noticed that I received a small stutter when firing the stationary heat seekers. Everything else was perfect. Based on the earlier BF1942 that had issues with sound, try turning off EAX and see if that helps.

Played it and had alot of fun. Those claymores are nasty little mothers, place a few around your sniper spot and camp away

The only downside is that you cannot bind the PgUP/PgDown/End/Home/Ins/Del keys, they seem to be locked to commander functions, e.g. ack/nak and so on. As I use the arrowkeys (I'm a leftie) I used to have those bound to various functios in DC like enter vehicle. I'm sure I'll get over it but it's a nuisance.

Bug free for me and fun as shit. I ignored the reboot for the DirectX thing. Light years ahead of BF:V.

Post 300. Woot!

Still, my Ti4200 won't play it, so I really have no business in this thread.

Oh well.

You guys with the key binding issues are really retarded or something? If it says, the key is already bound, say to yourself OK I understand that. Now go to the key that is bound and press ESCAPE. That will delete the binding. Infact, maybe if you just click on every single key binding and press ESCAPE, you can do all of them how you want. I never had any key binding issues with any BF game and don't understand the issue. On my issues, I fixed the sound crackling issue by changing it back to software from hardware sound. Now I gotta figure out the blocky shadows issue which I may try the drivers it came with to fix it. So far it's a great game and will definitely buy.

Wow, almost 300 comments?! Why is everyone going apeshit over this game?

Good question.

Looks great, runs great... but why do all the planes have propellers on them? I don't see any "Guld of Oman" map, only one called "Wake Island". The game looks nothing like the videos.

Let's see how many people will read this secret text... will they think I am dumb enough to have downloaded the wrong demo? Let's find out! I should give a little hint by screwing up this little blurb. oops

That has to be the worst implementation of redefining keys I've seen in a long time (possibly ever), which is saying something considering how poorly this simple process is often handled. The sheer ineptitude of it is breath taking

Ok I got a sound crackling issue and shadows are a bunch of squares. Looks real bad on a big object such as a jeep casting a huge squad shadow around it that doesn't move or anything. Gotta figure out how to get around these issues considering I got the latest nvidia drivers installed =/
Reposting the link I got this from again incase you people were blind. www.happypuppy.com Downloaded it in 6minutes from that site at over 1mb a sec on cable. Adios!
