Wow, those really, really, suck. You'd think they'd have released better shots than those.

Yes, but they would be endorsed, we would be playing them on a nintendo system, supporting nintendo playing bug free games supported by nintendo, and generally kicking pixelated ass!

I think they look great, but what is that 'screen test' label? What's that supposed to mean? This is what the game might theoretically look like? Wow.

I don't see anything too spectacular about those shots. They look nice sure, but the heavy blur and real life-based art are the only things separating these from games available now. And unless they're monitoring your pupils to see where you're looking, that depth of field can't be used in the actual gameplay anyway. Also, take any decent screenshot and make it small so you can't make out the details. Instantly it looks like a console from the future!

Why would we? o_O You mean Getaway 3 isn't a sequel?
More than half of the games announced for both the Xbox360 and the PS3 are sequels; MGS4, Halo3, FFXI, UT2007, DOA4, you name it.. (and I'll avoid the EA sports games whose titles all includes at least two digits). Sure they'll be some new things but publishers won't change their habits any time soon..

About those shots.. I'll believe them when I'll see them running in real time.

The only reason to even be excited about the PS3/X360/NRev is that a new platform means new ORIGINAL content and we can finally get past all this sequelitis and the umpteenth fucking GTA game/clone!

Hopefully the PS3 can actually render that. Those screens aren't rendered on a PS3, becuase Nvidia still hasn't finished the GPU for the system.
