Smart, don't you fucking dare touch Freespace. Don't even god damn look at it. Don't glance in the general direction of the license, don't even form a thought that would involve you and Freespace together in the same metric unit of measurement. It is not for you. Freespace is a treasure of the Golden Age of PC gaming, and for the likes of you to fuck with it, well it would be like throwing pearls before swine.
Better to let the Freespace franchise die than have it bastardized and twisted into something horrible by you, because as we've all seen displayed over and over and over, you cannot make good games, or even decent games. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it.
