Pariah Sequel Plans

WHAM! gaming (thanks Computer and Video Games and Frans) has quotes from James Schmalz of Digital Extremes indicating that a Pariah sequel is in the works, as the first game just hits shelves. There are scant details at this point, but the project sounds like it has an accelerated timeframe, as the DE executive producer reveals that not only is the title in development, but is targeted at current consoles, rather than the next generation of systems, with Schmalz calling Pariah 2 a "bridge" between current and future systems. A PC version of Pariah 2 goes unmentioned.

Yeah most likely I played a different HL2 then. The version for objective people.

I wonder why I already forgot how the story started if it was so nice.

If something big happened (action-wise) please tell me where and when. Did you find the last level challenging??? Or the part were you had to kill dozens of striders (one after another, lol)?
I was expecting a big fight at the end of each map but it never happened. There were only hundreds of enemies suddendly everywhere which were killed fast (even though they came in 3 or more waves, which made it even more boring, since you could pick em off easily when they came around the corner, out of the door or out of the backalley).
The difficulty was only increased by slow framerates at some points which made aiming hard at times. And of course the low ammunition all the time. HL2 with the amount of ammunition (or as strong weapons) like you have in other FPS would have made this game a cakewalk and even shorter. Well, actually while playing it seemed REALLY long, since you always expected more to happen. So you always thought "this cant be the end" or "this game is gonna take a while since nothing big happened yet".
I was really shocked when the game suddenly ended.

I have given up on waiting for BIS to come back to their senses and do a real ArmA 2 successor.
