Wait...didn't Blizzard specifically say in multiple places a while back that they planned to close off the Diablo universe with the second game so as to avoid it getting too done-to-death (i.e. EA-ized?)
Then again, Roper & gang are currently creating something that can be seen as the next-gen Diablo (Hellgate), so unless Blizzard wants to lose a large portion of its Diablo playing customers, they're almost bound to come up with a new one.
And with all the departures from blizzard over the past two years or so, I doubt that there's a lot of innovation left, so perhaps EA-izing is all that's left for them. Starcraft Ghost really doesn't look much more than a plain bog standard console shooter.

I'll reserve judgement untill I see and hear more.
While there was much I loved about DII it ultimately lost it's appeal. Blizzard made it harder and harder to solo through the game at anything higher than normal difficulty.
So I couldn't keep building a character unless I went to play online, which I had NO interest in doing.
So unless Blizzard shows me that they're not going to try and screw the solo players again I think I'll stick to Sacred or maybe Dungeon Siege II.
