Project: Snowblind Demo

Today's stream of demos rolls along with the release of the Project: Snowblind Demo, featuring the Opera House mission from Crystal Dynamics' first-person shooter. The 213 MB download can be found on the Eidos UK FTP Server (direct link, thanks The Patches Scrolls), and mirrors are available on 3D Gamers, Computer Gamers Romania, FileFront, Filerush (torrent), Gameguru Mania, GameSpot DLX (registration required), and Worthplaying.

#1 The only relation Snowblind has to Deus Ex is how developement on it started and that it's published by Eidos.

It's a purely action oriented game, where Deus Ex was an RPG, this is anything but!

That's hardly the only relation they have. I'd say that the only differences they have are that DX was a very good RPG, and Snowblind is a pretty lame action game. Why all the stupid security panels and air ducts? What's the point of adding all the Deus Ex-ish stuff in there? Why not just make a good action game if that's what they wanted? Seems like someone couldn't decide what kind of game to make and they split the difference and ended up with crap.
