(Scant) Dimitri Details

There's a Dimitri article on Computer and Video Games with first details on Dimitri, Lionhead's upcoming project straight from Peter Molyneux:
"It's a game about [pause for dramatic drum roll] ...you. It allows anyone who plays the game to relive their life, their entire individual life. That's a pretty ambitious concept." While our jaw dropped to the floor, Lionhead PR hastily intervened with the effect of a virtual gagging order.

So there we have it, first details on Dimitri and obviously you can't say the concept lacks ambition. If we have to speculate further we'd probably say it would be at least a PC title given Lionhead's development preferences, and given production timescales if it did appear on console, it would now have to be next generation, probably Xbox 2.

"The only thing new in the world is the history you don't know." - Harry S Truman

Game: Alter Ego, Platforms: Apple II, C64, DOS

Alter Ego is a "life simulator" that presents you with a series of life experiences that take you from infancy through old age. You can live out your own life, or the life of someone else, possibly someone you wish you could be. You can live out fantasies without risk, relive your childhood, or maybe see the world from your kids'/parents'/spouse's eyes.
