Bruno 'the butcher of Beverly' AKA Pepe Le Pew, purges the only people at Atari who knew what the hell they were doing. Way to go you smelly cheese eating surrender monkey! Why not give yourself another raise. The closing of the Beverly and Santa Monica offices seals Atari's fate. This will be his Dien Bien Phu! Will EA please purchase what is left of Atari and rid us of Bruno and his band of idiots!

Yet you all still buy their products...go figure.

I only have Madden 2002 and Need for Speed 3: Hot Pursuit in my collection. And I don't own a console. I've probably got more Sierra and Activision games than anything (Tribes, Tribes 2, AvP, SoF2, etc.) So sorry to disappoint you.

I haven't bought an EA game since last year when Madden 2004 was pretty lame compared to NFL2k4 and NFL2k5 blew it away and look what happened?

They bought the NFL...

They have some interesting games coming out but after I see the EA logo I move along swiftly.

Not to mention EA bought and then then shut down Origin (makers of Ultima series). They cancelled the game Earth & Beyond and MotorCity Online (The first company to cancel a MMOG game).

Have there been some good games that EA has put out? Sure there has, but by shear number they will periodically get a few decent games. The problem is that they run their business with an ideology I do not care for. They take advantage of their developers to an extreme, will run a brand into the grand and then later discard it and will rather push for a buggy game than a late game.

Funny thing is people always give Microsoft a hard time, but really they are a much better company to develop games for. Look at the Age of Mythology and Age of Empires games and the Halo games as examples. Both were well done series, where Microsoft gave the developers room to breath and let them do their own thing.

yes.. let's see..... the major NFL agreement, the slavery inside their organization and the constant agressive business approach. I mean, shit.. even the french government wants to stop this madness by buying the company. oh.. how about the censorship on the-sims-online users' blogs? And that's just what we see.

EA games is not what they used to be. EA games right now is like EVIL! shit.. forget intel or microsoft, this one's a real player and the worse is that they got the money to back their wars.

Dammit. If ubisoft goes EA what's gonna happen to the myst franchise? that scares me. alot. Specially when we all know what happens when they step up in the scene.

Yeah, they totaly screwed up C&C. I'm sorry, but Generals was garbage. Pretty, but they cut the FMV to save time and forgot to add more gameplay.
