RYL: Path of the Emperor Beta

Planetwide Games has launched the open beta for RYL: Path of the Emperor, their MMORPG, while also announcing lifetime RYL Founders Guild Membership opportunities:
(PRWEB) February 4, 2005 – Planetwide Games announced today a historic event of epic proportion, that after Seven Years of Development, the “RYL: Path of the Emperor” Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) went into Open Beta phase for North America. Planetwide Games will operate Open Beta for a limited time only until the Golden Launch date of March 1, 2005. “RYL: Path of the Emperor” currently has over 8.2 million online players worldwide. It's Korean, right? They all have full PvP as far as I know. Must admit it looks better than a lot of those Lineage clones that kept coming out.

signed up for it. Looks pretty interesting. Nice change from the usual D&D style stuff even if its only cosmetic.

EDIT: good luck downloading this thing. waited almost 10 min before it started DL'ing and then I only got 10k sec. Things are swamped. Why these people chose Cnet for distribution I'll never know.

Choice is good. The idea of packages sucks, mostly. Why? Because you know some marketing dufus came up with the idea trying to justify his job and the packages serve no other purpose than to milk teets dry. Sucky, sucky.
