Ships Ahoy - Aerial Strike: The Yager Missions

DreamCatcher announces that Aerial Strike: The Yager Missions, the North American edition of the airborne combat game also known as Yager, has landed in stores:
Toronto, February 4, 2005 - DreamCatcher Games today announced Aerial Strike: The Yager Missions, a futuristic aerial 3D combat/action game, is now available for Windows® at retailers across North America.

Despite all of the superior technological advancements of the future, security on Earth remains at risk. In Aerial Strike: The Yager Missions, players assume the role of Magnus Tide, pilot of one of the deadliest machines in the galaxy: the fighter ship Sagittarius. Taking control of Sagittarius’ multiple weapons and capabilities, players enter a world of extreme fighter pilot action, forcing futuristic rivals to pay the ultimate price in a daring quest to save the world.

This radical action game offers intense aerial combat, combining dog fighting missions and ground attack objectives. Players will soar through 22 huge levels, adapting their strategies around multi-faceted terrains, including deep canyons and enormous mountains. They will maneuver a wide range of crafts, from agile fighters to huge battleships and carriers. Outside of the Sagittarius, players apply a more hands-on approach to fending off enemies when they get behind the controls of a gun turret.

Aerial Strike: The Yager Missions is developed by Yager Development. It has an ESRB rating of ‘T’ for Teen and retails for a suggested price of $19.99 USD. For more information visit www.dreamcatchergames.com.

Yager (the original name) was released in 2003, so I don't see how you could've played it 5 years ago. Perhaps the Xbox version only had an arcade mode, but the PC version is simulation and has a physics engine, as well as beautiful particle effects. I love the game. It shows an attention to detail in it's stunning graphics, great character development (missing in most FPSs) and furious dogfights. Imo, this is one of the best games of 2003.

I remember playing a version of this like 5 years ago, its basically like moving a camera around 3d geometry with explosion sprites right? No phyics on the jet/spaceship just bland shooting

Yeah that's the one. And now you can buy it at a store near you. You lucky, lucky people.

Pay the ultimate price, or submit, declares Magnus.

Magnus will soar through deep canyons over enormous mountains with a hands-on approach as he gets behind the controls of the gun turret.

This is making me hot. Do the female npc’s have big boobies?
