DRIV3R PC Details

Atari reveals some details about how the PC edition of DRIV3R, due in March of this year, will differ from the previously released console versions:
Following the massively successful console version, Driv3r for the personal computer features an all new level exclusive to the PC release. The level is set between 'Gators Yacht' and 'Trapped' and is called 'The Hit'. It features an assassination attempt on Tanner and a tense, hot pursuit which makes the most of Miami's waterfront location and the variety of vehicles it calls for. The PC version will also see additions in other areas including for the first time the full 12 minute long DRIV3R 'making of' movie.

Yeah well, everyone loves GTA San Andreas, and I just threw the game in the trash. I kept playing it waiting for it to stop sucking and it never did. And talking about shit graphics. How the hell can they look themselves in the mirror while selling that game for $50? lol

Driver can't be any worse than GTA:SA in my opinion.

He cut the possum's face off then cut around the eye socket. In the center of the belt buckle, where the possum's eye would be, he has placed a small piece of wood from his old '52 Ford's home made railroad tie bumper. Damn, he misses that truck.

I think you're mistaking "massively successful" for "critically acclaimed" - the two aren't necessarily linked

I believe Driver 3 shifted a lot of units through retailers, so it probably was at least fairly successful from a commercial perspective.

My understanding is that the game was excellent in some ways, just utterly flawed due to a large number glaring gameplay issues and bugs. For that reason alone, I'm keeping an eye on the PC version. Hopefully, they'll be able to "make good" on the console version.

Witha 1.8 out of 10 too. That has to hurt. Hopefully this does devs and publishers some good. Never to repeat it again.

I'm somewhat. I'll probably buy it because I need some games to hold me over until GTA is released in June.

Was this console title that successful? I know it got blasted by many sites and mags in reviews. Also I thought there was a lot of rumors that Atari was buying good reviews or something. Anyways, regardless, does anyone really care about this title coming to PC?
