Enlight announces a continuation of the Seven Kingdoms series:
ENLIGHT ANNOUNCES "SEVEN KINGDOMS: CONQUEST" for the PC

Latest Entry to Critically-Acclaimed Seven Kingdom Series Scheduled to Ship This Fall

PARKVILLE, MD - January 26, 2005 - Enlight, a leading software developer and publisher, announced today their latest real-time strategy game "Seven Kingdoms: Conquest," the third installment of the highly acclaimed "Seven Kingdoms" series. Co-developed for the PC by Enlight and Infinite Interactive, "Seven Kingdoms: Conquest" will be available in North America this September 2005.

"'Seven Kingdoms: Conquest' will retain all the espionage, trade, and diplomacy that made the original series so unique," said Trevor Chan, chief executive officer of Enlight. "By adding a brand new 3D engine and level editor with the back drop of an epic struggle between human and demon races, this title will offer depth and real-time skirmishes that hard core gamers can appreciate and casual players will enjoy."

About "Seven Kingdoms: Conquest"

I really enjoyed the first Seven Kingdoms, particularly the naval aspect. The second one was prettier, and rewarded preparation for war, but got out of hand too quickly. Also, the maps were too small for the size of buildings: it was not uncommon for your settlements to grow adjacent to an enemy, making (too) early conflict inevitable, which was deadly.

"Seven Kingdoms: Conquest' will retain all the espionage, trade, and diplomacy that made the original series so unique"

Which game is he talking about? The first two you just run around and smash monsters and their little monster holes.

Worst money I ever spent.

It was unique that's for sure, sometimes it is a good thing, but I could not get into it at the time.

Long live "Rome: Total War"!!!

Id rather see them keep trying then have EA release more shit titles that have been crapped on by EA execs.

Also 7 kingdoms was a fun game alot better then most the shit out right now. Hoping Art of War is worth a shit but I doubt it.
