What I'd like to see is MS release a PCI card that would allow people to play XBox 2 games on the PC.Doubt that'd happen, but it'd be cool. But you're right, withouth a HDTV you're really wasting your time.
Xbox 2 will supposedly be using 3 (yes, three) 3.6gig CPU's and an ATi next gen card.
Seems to me though if you don't have a high-end television then its kind of a waste. What I'd like to see is MS release a PCI card that would allow people to play XBox 2 games on the PC.

Yes, it'll be behind cutting edge 2006 PCs, but that's not the point.
Will it though - intel will need to put on about a 30% speed increase in 1 year to beat that - they certainly didn't manage that sort of jump last year and their meant to be having a LOT of trouble even beating the 4Ghz barrier.
Of course a lot will depend on the graphics card but you can garuntee the architecture will be faster then a PC simply because it won't have to support 10 year old hardware!

I never played Super Punch-Out!!, but I kind of wish they'd included Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!. That was great. I remember comparing notes at school. "How do you beat the Great Tiger?" "Punch him when his jewel flashes!"
