Steam Update

Steam News (thanks Frans) outlines the latest updates to the Half-Life dedicated server, the Source engine, and Steam itself, which includes the following: "Pressing the cancel button while Steam is loading will bring up the offline dialog."

I don't have it, but I'm glad it eventually got fixed for those that did have it.

Oddly enough, you can disconnect from the internet nowadays, and thus have no internet.

You don't have to disconnect from the internet, though. You can wrap your monitor in tin foil, and it'll be protected just as well.

Immediately after the first update there was a small 2nd one:

"Update - Fixed command line parameters being ignored when using desktop shortcuts for some games"
