A third playable demo for Tribes Vengeance is now available, offering another
chance to sample single-player action in the latest installment in the science
fiction shooter series. Word is: "In the demo, gamers play the role of Mercury,
a robot assassin hired to locate and eliminate Daniel, a captain of the local
Phoenix subclan." The 415 MB download can be found on

I got UT2004 for $40 from EB the day it came out with a $20 coupon. I'm still waiting to get my $20's worth out of this 'great value' game. IMO one great mode has far more value than five hundred shitty ones. Barely anyone plays dm/tdm, UT's most popular mode, ctf, is almost as dead. DOM, assault, BR... none ever took off (in this one OR previous UT's). What's left? Onslaught, and that's the only thing anyone plays it seems. An arcadey bf42 knockoff that has no depth at all.
