The Star Wars: Battlefront modification tools are now available, offering the opportunity to create new levels for Pandemic's Star Wars shooter as an unsupported release. Also, Starbreeze Studios now offers downloads of a new version of the Ogier Starbreeze level editor and multitool. Word is: "Ogier has support to edit content for Enclave, Knights of the Temple and The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. It also have some limited level-editing support for Quake." I installed this thing a few weeks ago. It writes literally thousands of entries into your registry. If you use a registry cleaner like Norton, it sees these as being "orphaned" and wants to delete them, which in turn makes the editor crash. And when you uninstall the editor, it does not clean-up after itself.
Softimage could have done a much better job here - this thing acts like some kind of hack-job in-house software (can you say "Radiant"?), not a subset of a quality retail product.

It's sad that RBR is the better game than XPand, and yet, SCi is really screwing up on supporting it. Christ they haven't even released it in the states yet, 3 months beyond release. :-\ Way to screw a good thing, SCi.
It's probably easiest to go to the Valve resource site - that seems to be where most modders congregate.

Yahoo is slow as always, you could download the free XSI version from the XSI site for months now..
