GameConnect Magazine. This utility offers several enhancements as well as
performance tweaks, but is also accompanied by the following warning: "It has NO
UNINSTALL FUNCTION. Make backups etc!! Use at your own risk!"

I finished the game on normal mode, 640x480, shaders on high setting, everything else on low. I don't think it'll Enhancer me much. I'm still recovering.

yeah, I'm gonna run right out and install this thing that doesn't uninstall, has no discernable benefits and is likely to not work with my Steam HL2 install. I'm not as think as you dumb I am.

It also didn't used to work with the Steam version - only the CD version, though that may be fixed by now.
