Today is the eleventh anniversary of the release of the DOOM shareware, for me
as well as many others, a life-altering experience. To this day, skulking
through the darkened computer maze near the beginning of the game is still one
of my most memorable gaming experiences ever.

Have to say I have my original copy of the full version of Doom up in the closet. I remember quite fondly being so mad cause I had to buy more ram and take my machine from 4 megs up to a whoppin 8megs of ram..
