I got a spam in the nature of the Nigerian scams that purported to be from Mrs. Yassir Arafat... I thought this demonstrated well enough that these things have jumped the shark, but that was before I came to the end of the letter directing further inquiries to the law firm of Batman & Associates... if Barrister Batman is handling the case, maybe there's some legitimacy to all this?

assuming all vertical planes involved are kept parallel and the following takes place in a perfect universe, I'm imagining a line shooting out of my eyeball, straight down the centre of the projector lens, and onto the exact centre of the screen is optimal.. is that right (does it even make sense)?

It is just like a movie theater. Though, since it probably will not be that big the affects will not be to such a large degree. The critical part (and possibly what Z was talking about?) is having the projector hit the wall/screen straight on at.

and I'd like to track one down for a test if I can..

Where do you live? If it is a decent size city, odds are you will have a local A/V store with displays and such…maybe….better start calling some people!

One thing I would mention, the one I got does not have it, but it really is a nice feature and I wish I had it (and read more and got one with it). Is optical zoom, so the “size” of the screen is not totally limited to how far back the projector is. In my case, the room I put it in for watching movies, everything turned out to fit just perfect.
