A post by Valve's Adrian Finol to the
Steam Users Forums (thanks MonkeyBrains) reveals that Half-Life 2 deathmatch
is the surprise announcement they recently hinted about (story).
The post simply links to this
image, which says the proverbial thousand words about our upcoming
opportunity to throw more than just the kitchen sink at each other.
My problem in single player is that ever since I got the final weapon, I've been somewhat "stuck" in the ground. I can move around just fine, but I can't jump, and I "slide" a little when trying to stop. despite this setback, I managed to make it to the final battle, where I was finally screwed...I couldn't jump to places I needed to get to.
Is this how it's SUPPOSED to be? is the final weapon somehow so damned heavy that it outweighs all the other guns COMBINED (remember he WAS carrying them all and hopping about merrily up to that point)? All I know is this last part would probably be pretty fun if the damn game worked right.
I didn't mark this as "spoiler" because I made it as vague as possible. Much more vague and I might not even be talking about HL-2.
