Out of the Blue

A follow-up for my fellow coffee lovers after a long-ago discussion of coffee grinders. I recently found a new grinder that seems to fit my requirements, which is simply a burr unit that won't require constant shaking and banging to keep the beans flowing to their ultimate destiny. This KitchenAid Coffee Grinder fills these seemingly simple needs in a stylin' form. I've only been using this cast-iron and glass contraption for a short time, but its solid construction is clearly built for the long haul, and the only complaint I have about its operation is a bit of scattered grounds in the area when it's done. We even found it on sale in a Williams-Sonoma outlet, though they didn't have the spiffy blue, so we settled for kitchen white. Anyway, I've put the blade grinder away for emergencies, and it's good to get out of the same old grind.

pffffttt... you gone loco, senor WarPig!

check the link in my last post to see what is so far the best expaination for the HL time-line i have found... though it seems to delve into speculation a bit, it is mostly rock-solid. the guy who wrote it doesn't agree with your G-man theory, but i kind of like it... and it seems as plausible as anything else at this point.

i'm gonna replay the game on Easy skill, just so i can soak up more of the atmosphere, and spend less time fighting for my life!
